Note: The above computations were made basing on the total target populations of all those targeted in the projects of SIKYOMU for 1 year
Staff
Sikyomu Development organization for PHAs has a dedicated staff headed by the programs Coordinator which carries out the day today works of the organization, these full employed staff are 8 in number and these include the Program Coordinator, Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, 2 field officers and the Askar (to safe guard the office premises and property). It should be noted that the staff is a mixture of HIV/AIDs Positive and negative members. Below these staff members are 8 Village Health Teams (VHTs), 10 Paralegal Officers, 8 Network Support Agents (NSAs) and 36 Community Resource Persons (CORPs), All these were trained by Sikyomu with support from its partners and all are working as Volunteers for Sikyomu in its programs.
MARPs reached in all programs of Sikyomu
Note: MARPs = (Most At Risk Populations)
From the graph it can be noted that there was an increase in the number of people reached in HCT as we had an increase from 251 to 491 females tested and the male increased from 225 male to 313 male this reporting quarter and the cumulative increased to 2,572 people reached (This is a cumulative total for all the 4 quarters (1year) of the project life.
This was computed basing on a one year target plan of Sikyomu, note that these numbers are still low according to the Mukono district general population and the target group hence we are striving hard to receive more funding so as more population can be reached
